DECEMBER THRU MARCH

Our lion hunts are 5 day hunts: we hunt primarily on horses or mules with the use of hounds. Located in Southern New Mexico most of our hunting is done on dry ground. For those of you with a limited time schedule we may be able to hunt when weather conditions are more favorable or a lion is located in a particular area.

Be prepared as lion hunts can be very physical. Lions like rough rocky country, which can require some serious horseback and footwork to harvest a nice trophy.

A hunter must purchase a lion license at least 2 days prior to the start of the hunt. This can be done by mail on Form 3 in the New Mexico big game proclamation, which I can mail to you in advance.
